This was another spontaneous piece of flash writing I did on the theme of a traffic light.
‘Stop! Please,’ she begged him, but it was too late. She cursed herself. She knew it was a mistake accepting a lift home. He was far over the limit.
‘Shut up,’ he hissed; his eyes poisonous arrows, his mouth set in a snarl. She grabbed his arm and tried to jolt him back into reality – panicked by the pedestrian at the traffic light ahead.
